DANUBE :: from the Black Forest to the Black Sea

The Danube has always fascinated artists’ minds throughout Europe. It was approached one by one in painting, music, literature and now time for the photography has come. Dinu Dan invites you to a photography exhibition where you can discover in pictures the whole story of the river, since taking birth of three springs in the Black Forest Mountains and flowing into the Black Sea through the spectacular Danube Delta.

During the trip we crossed Germany's picturesque villages and we assisted as a small mountain river with tributaries turns and manages to break way from the mountains of Altmunthal or Kelheim, we floated by waltz rhythms through the Wachau Valley in Austria and we admired in a hurry Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest architecture; then we crossed and we discovered the foggy world of Kopacki Rit in Croatia, we pass through the Balkan typical landscape in Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania. After that we lingered for some time in the spectacular world of The Danube Delta. However, the data available give no less than eight countries, four capitals and dozens of cities, without let alone rural areas and natural.
